About Event

The erstwhile Business Secretary and arguably last ‘sensible Tory’ to have their hands on the levers of power joins us to reflect on Britain in 2026 and how it has changed in the last twenty years.

His new hat since leaving politics has tassels, in the shape of the University of Warwick and their new Innovation District. In his new role Greg is tasked with, amongst others, kickstarting growth – pretty damn important right now.
As well as diagnosing the issues which beset the UK economy and (we hope) suggesting solutions, Greg will also be reflecting on his time in government and the Westminster bubble bath.
Why not join us for a meal beforehand? Book via 1000trades.org.uk
