Events at 1000 Trades
No need to head into town for Birmingham comedy clubs and shows... We have comedy events right here. With stand-up shows every second Thursday and improv most Wednesdays, you're in for a good night and a chuckle over a beer.
Depending on the night, we're a jazz bar, or a late-night disco... We host all kinds of live music and DJ nights, marching to the beat of our own drum (or that of our live DJs), so if you feel like hitting the dance floor after a pint or two, 1000 Trades can hit you up.
Friday nights at 1000 Trades are all about live jazz, with local, national, and international bands sharing their talents in our upstairs room, known for its intimate atmosphere and stage-worthy acoustics.
Our small, perfectly formed kitchen is host to an ever-changing roster of talented chefs from within Birmingham and beyond. There's always a new menu coming soon...
As a taste of what's been before - our first pop-up kitchen was Matthew Knight's Blu Magic, with a menu of Caribbean fusion dishes so good that he became our first resident chef. Following this, we welcomed Hyeonu Ji's JI-MT pop-up kitchen, dishing up Korean dishes so tasty that the menu is named after the Korean slang for "f*cking delicious." They're not wrong.
