About Event

Renowned economist, commentator and scribe Duncan Weldon joins us to dissect the elementary drivers of most of what happens (or not) in the world.

How can we tackle inequality?  Does debt matter? Should we do a wealth tax?

Duncan is UK economics correspondent for the Economist and is a regular contributor to Radio 4’s More or Less and many others, as well as author of Two Hundred Years of Muddling Through: The surprising story of Britain’s economy from boom to bust and back again and Blood and Treasure: The Economics of Conflict from the Vikings to Ukraine.
