Birmingham Jazz Presents: Paul Clarvis/Liam Noble & Orquestra Mahatma 7.45pm
A double bill of the unique duo of Paul Clarvis & Liam Noble performing the whole of West Side Story in the first set followed by a second set from Orquestra Mahatma. Paul Clarvis was the favourite drummer of Leonard Bernstein and he performed and recorded with the great master composer many times over the years. In celebration of that time Paul and Liam present the whole of West Side Story in a one medley set; in their unique way.
Orquestra Mahatma (sometimes credited as Orqestra Mahatma) is an eclectic UK band which draws heavily on international music including Spanish, French, Bulgarian, Macedonian and Latin-American as well as jazz influences. £12.50/ £10 members/ £5 students.
