Soul Food pop-up this weekend
Squint hard enough, and you might just clock that slither of sunshine peeking through the cloud.
It seems after a truly arduous dose of classic British Summer Time, Vitamin D may be back in fashion. And just in time, because this weekend the carnival that is the JQ Festival rolls into B1 and our legendary kitchen is cooking up all things Soul Food to mark the occasion.
Chef-in-residence Andrew Gabler is laying the taste on factor 50 for this Louisiana-inspired feast.
Think generous Jambalaya, mouthwatering Gumbo and gruyere Mac & Cheese to boot. All dishes served for 48 hours only from Friday 28th June – so you’d better get those crispy chicken tenders in quick.
