We were a pub. Now we are a takeaway.

We used to be open 7 days a week. Now it is Tuesday to Saturday, 5pm to 9pm.

We brought good food and drink to the Jewellery Quarter. We still endeavour to.

Here’s how:

• Food: Here’s our takeaway menu. Please phone and pay for your order on 0121 233 2693. Your details will be noted and approximate time for collection given. Please come to the bar and collect your food. Or find us on Uber Eats.

• Drinks can also be ordered with takeaway food. Walk-ins are also possible on drinks – but only 2 people at a time, at least 2 metres apart. Our bottles and cans list is here, all at 1/3 off; limited draft beer also available at 20% off in one-pint cups (holders available); and bring your own empties for our discounted natural wine.

“Next year in Jerusalem”, Jews will say this Thursday (16 April) at the conclusion of the Passover Seder. These words conclude the Seder’s journey from a reminder of the suffering of the past (and present) to hopes for wholeness and freedom for all in the future.

“Next year (or as soon as it is safe to do so) in the pub”, we say. Our new Jerusalem will celebrate our friends and partners – including Birmingham Slow Food (to whom orders can still be placed here) and the Vanguard (here).
