About us

Get to know 1000 Trades

We champion all forms of craft over three floors of our nineteenth century building – originally built in 1870 as a jewellery workshop, latterly a badge factory.

We're an independent free house with an unwavering focus on local and regional drinks you won't find anywhere else, along with an ever-changing kitchen filled with diverse menus, all drawing from the culinary melting pot that is Birmingham.

A Birmingham favourite all year round - cosy winter evening by the fire, blissed summer days with our French doors.

We like to think that craft in all its forms lives on in the building as it is now…

'Quality and variety' is our mantra, across everything we do.
