Our food
Globally-inspired local pub food
Our small, but perfectly formed kitchen is underpinned by the mantra, ‘quality and variety’, with rotating kitchens from some of Birmingham’s up-and-coming food entrepreneurs, as well as more established names.
This is local pub food, inspired by cuisines all over the place.

EL AZTECA
Mehehehico has landed in the JQ and we welcome Chef José, co-founder of the famous A La Mexicana in Bearwood, dishing up proper, authentic dishes made with love and passion. Served Monday to Friday from 5pm; Saturday from midday.

SUNDAY ROASTS
The perfect Sunday Roast doesn't exist... or does it?
Serving from midday til 5pm every Sunday. Everyone says this but we really do advise you to book.

POSH Hot Sandwiches
Hot Sandwiches. POSH ones - including our chef special "steak dinner" featuring a sirloin of steak alongside our homemade tangy chimichurri sauce during January. Served Tue to Fri 12-5pm.

LARGE BOOKINGS / PRIV HIRE
At most times we can cater for large groups up to 25, and larger still for more informal gatherings in our two private hire spaces. Get in touch, get involved.
