TUESDAY 7 AUGUST – SATURDAY 1 SEPTEMBER and semi-permanently

Salt & Earth @ 1000 Trades Serving all day Monday-Saturday

Renowned Birmingham chef Niki Astley is to move in to the 1000 Trades kitchen as the semi-permanent resident, bringing an evolving menu of small plates to suit all tastes whilst overseeing an occasional series of pop-ups and collaborations from some of Birmingham best up and coming chefs throughout the year:

“We’re excited to be deepening our relationship with 1000 Trades by moving in permanently to the kitchen. We’ve decided to take what we’ve learned are successful dishes and adapt our format to fit a wider clientele, hopefully creating menus that are delicious, familiar and exotic at the same time. We’ll also be offering a selection of bar nibbles, artisan cheeses and charcuterie alongside our current format of small plates.”

More details of future pop-ups and collaborations will appear throughout the year – see below for a preview who’s in for the first week of September. Note: the kitchen will be closed on Monday 6 August for prep. See for more details and the full menu
