For one night only Slow Food Birmingham brings a four course menu to 1000 Trades by renowned personal chef Suzanne Russell.

Slow Food member Suzanne runs Artisan Epicurean bespoke personal chef services, offering beautifully inspired and unique menus at home with the emphasis on ethically sourced, seasonal & home grown produce.

She will be presenting a four course menu which, as well as showing off her skills in using beautiful ingredients, will highlight the crucial relationship between the food we eat, where it comes from and its impact on the world.

Slow Food’s international “Food for Change” campaign has been launched to offer solutions starting from our everyday actions and to international projects; both will strengthen clean local economies, fair trade and support regenerative, climate aware producers. Our food and its producers are on the front line of global climate change, however, with your support they can also be a major part of the solution.

The Slow Food aim is to actively connect people to the food they eat and the land it is grown on, through local food projects, educational events, and shared meals. They champion local food, and with your help want eaters to meet growers, and shorten the food chain.

Formed in 2018, Slow Food Birmingham is part of the international grassroots food movement Slow Food.
