Original music, acoustic only. Enough to whet your musical appetite? Well you’re in luck, as the dAudio Uncovered showcase returns to the Jewellery Quarter this Thursday night with another group of talented local artists.
The dAudio Music Group bills itself as an independent music company for the digital age. They work with digital sound installations, run a record label, and support local musicians.
We spoke to Kate Dudley from the label about what to expect this week:
“Thursday’s Uncovered event is all about original acoustic music. It kicks off with Alex Dudley, a local singer songwriter, followed by Andy Jenkins back by popular demand. We’ve also got Sid Rivers bringing his own brand of punkoustic, and Arwen finishes up the evening.”
“Our artists love playing 1000 Trades. It’s an awesome vibe for live music: friendly, chilled, with a top bar. The perfect place to be celebrating live original music and supporting up and coming artists.”
If music be the food of love, play on.
dAudio Uncovered takes place on Thursday 24th August from 7pm. Free Entry. More information at label.daudiomusicgroup.com/event.
