Following last year’s week-long takeover by Salt & Earth. One Twelve kitchen is the latest outfit to bring affordable high-end cuisine to the informal setting of 1000 Trades. Headed up by Birmingham-based chef Neil Withers, One Twelve is a collective which aims to boil down the elemental components of ‘fine dining’ to arguably what matters most – high quality ingredients married with expertise and flair. Neil has fifteen years’ experience working in kitchens both home and abroad, from Michelin star establishments on the continent to gastro pubs in the English countryside and everything in between. He has also assisted with food demonstrations for world-renowned chefs.
Drawing on sources as diverse as Rungis Market in Paris, a hub for some of Europe’s finest produce, to foragers scouring the landscape for delicate and unusual herbs, http://onlineusadrugstore24.com, the emphasis is on simple, seasonal and fresh.
“We really wanted to do something which meets a growing demand for food that privileges provenance and quality and provenance above all else. A grand or imposing setting should not be a pre-requisite to experiencing high-end food. Making things simple and informal also means we can make it more accessible, both in terms of feel and price, and we’re really looking forward to showing what we can do at 1000 Trades.”
True to this approach, One Twelve’s six course set menu is priced at just £30 (plus booking fee).
The One Twelve kitchen will operate in the evenings 5-9pm from Monday 6th to Saturday 11th February, with a lunchtime service from 12-3pm on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th February.
The menu is available to view here and bookings/tickets (advised) are now open via Eventbrite. For any enquiries please call the bar on 0121 233 2693 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. More information and contact details for One Twelve can be found at www.one-twelvekitchen.co.uk
