1000 Trades has pioneered Bag-In-Box (BIB) wine in Birmingham.
Because BIB is the best means of making affordable high quality wine made by small scale growers who follow organic or biodynamic farming methods.
Now 1000 Trades is giving you an opportunity to learn more about BIB and organic wine.
The tasting will be led by:
Sam Olive of Wine Freedom: Supplying natural wine to fine dining establishments in the Midlands (& further afield).
Tom Craven of VINNATURO: Vinnaturo grew out of the very simple desire: to drink and offer to others, quality, small production, low-intervention wines for less money, whilst trying to reduce the environmental impact of wine.
Wine Freedom is an independent family business run by Sam Olive. Sam has over a decade of experience in the wine industry. Wine Freedom is managed from our rustic garage location in the depths of rural Warwickshire. It works alongside cutting edge UK importers to offer a broad range of natural artisan wines from around the world.
One of those importers is VINNATURO. Tom Craven sources wines made by small scale growers who follow organic or biodynamic farming methods. These growers make good wine that has a sense of place and personality, freshness and energy. VINNATURO then put these wines in a bag-in-box (BIB). The idea is to cut every possible cost (packaging – shipping – warehousing – delivery) except for the investment in the wine itself, thus delivering better quality wine to the final customer, at a much better price, with less environmental impact.
1000 Trades has been pleased to be on of these VINNATURO customers and this tasting offers our customers the opportunity to take their understanding and enjoyment of BIB to the next level.
This tasting will be taking place on Thursday, 22 September 2016 from 18:30 to 20:30 (BST). Here is the Eventbite to book your (very reasonably priced) place.
